Clojure is a Lisp inspired language for the JVM. It passed the point of being a toy language. Why would a Java developer choose to learn Clojure? What’s so great about it? There are lots of ‘advertisement talks’ out there, but how is it in reality? I’ll give my perspective after learning and actually using Clojure for my work.
Software engineer. Worked at Ecstend, Synygy, Endava. Using Java since 1.0 and Clojure for the last three years.
